Imagine if you never cleaned out your car, dust, dirt, hair and all sorts would pile up. Not the nicest thought in the world is it? Imagine if vents began to collect and pile up dirt and dust and air couldn’t flow properly in and out of the car. It’d get warmer inside and make it harder to breather because the air is so thick with dust. Again, not nice to think about. But that’s why you clean out your car, to make sure it runs efficiently, works properly and just looks nice. Why doesn’t the same apply to a computer?

Cleaning a computer is a crucial element to keep your computer running smoothly. If you don’t clean out the inside of your computer the fans can pile up dust on each blade, making them spin slower and slower with time, creating a snowball effect, the slower the fan the more dust and the speed of your pc suffering. Other components in your pc can also become slower as the pc begins to get hotter than it’s meant to due to the dust inside acting as an insulator, frying pieces and making them slower. The worst-case scenario would be that your pc overheats, fries a small segment of your pc and causes a small fire. Which turns into a big fire. And what do you know, now the buildings on fire. Don’t make something like that happen.

There are many simple ways you can clean out your pc, just grab a hoover or hair dryer, open the side of your pc and just blow out all the dust. Make sure to wear a mask, I made the mistake of not wearing a mask the first time and I paid the price. Cleaning your peripherals is also a key part of keeping your setup clean and functional, use a toothpick, a toothbrush or any kind of wipe just get into the nook and crannies of the smaller segment of your keyboard, mouse and smaller computer sections. At the end of the day it just hygienic, please clean your stuff.
